Channel leading up to Hubbard Glacier. Pieces of ice that have broken off are visible as well. - aab.jpg
Cloud-shrouded mountain near the glacier. There's snow much lower down than on most mountains on this time of year, probably because it's much colder near the glacier than in the surrounding areas. - aac.jpg
Hubbard Glacier. You can see the ice field in front of it as well. - aad.jpg

Hubbard Glacier - aai.jpg
Floating ice near our ship. The channel we took to get near the glacier got so choked with ice while we were there that the captain had to take us out a different way. - aaj.jpg
I thought this ice chunk looked a little like a fish. - aak.jpg
A film crew took a tender out to get closer than the big ship could, so they could get better footage. This also gives you some idea of the sheer size of the wall of ice: the tender holds about 120-150 people, yet it looks tiny next to the massive glacier. - aal.jpg
The wall of ice was taller than our ship. - aam.jpg

Every night when we came back from dinner, our sheets were turned down and there were "good night" cards and chocolates on our pillows. One night we also found a goose. - "Women's Ribbon Short-Sleeve Pullover"
Ribbon pullover (my second project). Pattern Source: This was designed by Jill Ramos and is available from Tess' Designer Yarns.
