We flew into Anchorage and then took a bus down to Seward. We spent the night on the ship and then went to the Sea Life Center before the ship departed.
The cruise ship sailed up to the Hubbard glacier and more or less spun in place to give everyone a good view. This is the only glacier we saw that is not receding.
We were exhausted by this point in the cruise and just took a quick look around town. It's apparently amazing when the salmon are running, but they weren't.
We spent a few days in Vancouver. Our first day we went to Stanley Park and checked out the aquarium. Then we went with some friends to Whistler/Blackcomb ski/bike resort, which was very cloudy but still amazing to see. Especially the glass bottom Peak to Peak gondola. Then we spent a day in the VanDusen Botanical Garden, the Vancouver Museum, the Maritime Museum and Granville Island before flying home.
