Widget, our new calico kitten. - Drunkard's Path "quilt" afghan.
[1/8/2005] I've wanted to do a quilt-like afghan for a while, so I chose the Drunkard's Path pattern with my favorite yarn, Lion Brand Homespun. Pattern Source: Homespun 6 Crocheted Quilt Afghans leaflet from Lion Brand Yarn Company. - Mutant Taz
[7/19/2004] I am horrible at sewing, so I think Taz looks a bit like a mutant, but since he's for a 2-year-old, I doubt his new owner will notice. Pattern Source: Looney Tunes: Bugs & Pals to Crochet leaflet from Leisure Arts. - Shadow filet rose doily
Shadow filet rose doily This doily is a filet crochet rose, done with tr's instead of dc's; in this way I could use what is known as "shadow spaces" to make the leaves. (A shadow space is ch 1, tr, ch 1, while a closed block is 3 tr and an open block is 3 chs...each is bordered by 2 tr, of course.) Wish I could find more shadow-filet patterns; I think they're really neat. Pattern Source: Floral Doilies by Dover Needlework. - angry-blue-bird

Pansy doily [4/15/2003] Pattern Source: The HoWB leaflet Old-Time Crochet Made Easy (#101057). - Prairie Star Afghan
[3/20/2003] As I've mentioned, I love quilt-like afghans! Pattern Source: Got this from a kit at Mary Maxim. Unfortunately, they no longer seem to carry it, but PurpleKitty Yarns is currently offering a copy free with any purchase. - Musical angels (trumpet and book)
This is part of a set of 4 (see next photo for the other two). Pattern Source: December 1996 issue of Crochet With Heart. - IM000257.jpg
Wider view of crater with "whale mountain" in the background. - dolphin
[5/8/2009] Dolphin filet doily. Pattern Source: This is by Hartmut Hass and is available on his website. - Butterfly filet doily
Butterfly filet doily Pattern source: Butterfly Doilies leaflet published by ASN. Unfortunately, I believe that this leaflet may be out of print. Even if it is, I regret to say that I cannot make copies -- it's still illegal and I simply do not have the time. This has been one of the most-asked-about patterns on these web pages, and if I copied it for everyone who asked I'd never get any crocheting done! - IM000248.jpg
Another view down the path at all the people lower than we were. - IM000340.jpg

There was also a tunnel we had to walk through. At least it has lights now, though; it didn't last time I went up there in Dec. 1995. - angry-birds-pig
