We tried to put up a Christmas tree this year, but Widget was just too fascinated. This was her tamest; mostly, she kept eating the branches and climbing the tree. So, we had to take it down; hopefully next year she'll be a little calmer. (Wembley also likes sitting under the tree but never bothers it.)
