Home / Tina's Knitting Gallery 62
In January of 2005, after nearly a lifetime of crocheting, I decided to learn to knit. Though crochet will always remain my favorite, I want to make sweaters that I can wear even when the weather's not Arctic-cold (crochet fabric tends to be very, very thick). This gallery will document my knitting projects.
As with my crochet gallery, I will post pattern sources whenever possible, but please do not email me asking for copies of patterns, as this is both time-consuming and illegal. All such requests will be ignored.

My third knit project and the first one I made for someone besides myself. Pattern Source: This is from Leisure Arts' Weekend Favorites to Knit by Dale Rieves Potter. - raysweater_006.jpg
Close-up of Ray's sweater. The pattern is basically stockinette with "stripes" made of twisted knits (knit through back loop) surrounded by purls. See previous photo for pattern source. - "Milinda"
My fourth knit project, the most complicated pattern I've done to date. Pattern Source: This is from White Lies Designs, designed by Joan McGowan-Michael. - sweater_009.jpg

This one is the same pattern as my last sweater, but with a couple minor modifications. I made the sleeves more tapered and did the yarn-overs correctly this time. - "Lacy Pullover"
Lacy pullover. Pattern Source: Knit 'n Style issue #138, August 2005. I can't find a designer's name listed in the pattern. - koiguclose.jpg
