Tongass National Forest. The whitish stuff hanging down is a type of moss which eagles use to line their nests because it's extremely dry. It's also supposed to be good for starting fires for the same reason. - aat.jpg
Skunk cabbage, so named because of its smell when it blooms. We thankfully missed that. - aau.jpg

Creek Street - aaf.jpg
Creek Street, which used to be the town's red-light district. Behind it is "Married Men's Trail", where men used to sneak over to Creek Street without being caught. - aah.jpg
Dolly's House, the most famous brothel on Creek Street. We took a tour of the inside, which was left much as it was when Dolly Arthur died; it's very garishly decorated, including silk flowers made from condoms in her bathroom. - aad.jpg
Ketchikan also claims to have the largest totem pole collection. - aab.jpg
