cats 022.jpg - Close-up of Drunkard's Path Homespun afghan.
See previous photo for pattern source. - Drunkard's Path "quilt" afghan.
[1/8/2005] I've wanted to do a quilt-like afghan for a while, so I chose the Drunkard's Path pattern with my favorite yarn, Lion Brand Homespun. Pattern Source: Homespun 6 Crocheted Quilt Afghans leaflet from Lion Brand Yarn Company. - widgeteatingdoor.jpg
She likes to eat the door. What a weirdo. - widgetdoor1.jpg
Why is Widget sitting on top of the door? See next photo to find out... - zippywidgetbed.jpg
Widget decided she wanted the bed. Zippy vacated soon after this. - widgetdoor2.jpg
Widget is really intrigued by the cat silhouette over our office door. Note that the doorjamb is probably less than half an inch wide. In the next picture, you can see what happened immediately after. - widgetwithcat.jpg
Widget stretched across the doorjamb while sitting on top of the door, knocked the cat silhouette down, and then she had a new toy! - Close-up of pattern and border.
This afghan has a really cool border -- twisted chains of alternating colors. It wasn't easy to do as I had to stop and untwist the skeins every few stitches, but it looks really neat. Pattern Source: See previous photo. - (Yet another) Homespun mosaic afghan.
[2/19/2005] Another one for a friend, made from Lion Brand Homespun, colors Antique and Romanesque. Pattern Source: This comes from my favorite afghan book, Mosaic Magic: Afghans Made Easy by Lily Chin. This is the first pattern in the book, "Bargello." - Close-up of ripple mosaic afghan pattern
See previous photo for pattern source. - Ripple-effect mosaic afghan and matching pillow
Homespun mosaic afghan in colors "Barrington" and "Montana Sky." The matching pillow was a bit of a challenge since the top and bottom edges of the pattern are scalloped, but they fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, so it worked. Pattern Source: Mosaic Magic: Afghans Made Easy by Lily Chin. - "Casual Tee"
My first knitted project ever! Pattern Source: This came from FreePatterns.com; you can download it here (free registration required). It's called "Casual Tee", designed by Melissa leapman. I lengthened the sleeves. - firstsweaterclose.jpg
Close-up of my first knitted sweater. See previous photo for pattern source. - Lizard filet.
[5/15/2005] Lizard filet piece, made on a total whim. Crappy photo, but it was either use the flash flash and deal with the glare, or don't use the flash and have the whole picture look washed-out. We need a new camera. Pattern Source: SmartCrochet.com
