- "Amhra'n Gra'" (Love Song) sweater.
[12/7/2006] I made this sweater for Ray, out of Lion Brand Wool-Ease. This was one of the more complicated patterns I've done so far, with something like 6 different kinds of cables. It wasn't particularly difficult, though. And it was knitted in the round, which meant there was no sewing! [9/23/2006] One of the reasons I wanted to learn to knit was to be able to do stuff like this. Similar things can be done with crochet, but usually you have to do front-post stitches, which make for a thick fabric. So when I found this pattern, I had to try it.
