Materials:
Abbreviations: "sc" means single crochet; "ch" means chain
With white chain 5 loosely.
ROW 1: sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across (4 sc).
ROWS 2 thru 4: Ch1, turn; sc in each sc across.
ROW 5: ch 1, turn; 2 sc in first sc, sc in each sc across (5 sc).
ROW 6: ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.
ROW 7 (increase row): ch 1, turn; 2 sc in first sc, sc in each sc across (6 sc).
ROW 8 (increase row): ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across to last sc, 2 sc in last sc (7 sc).
ROWS 9 and 10: Repeat Rows 7 and 8 (9 sc).
ROWS 11 and 12: ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.
ROW 13 (decrease row): ch1, turn;
ROW 14 (decrease row): ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across to last 2
sc, decrease as in Row 13 (7 sc).
ROWS 15 and 16: Repeat Rows 13 and 14 (5 sc).
ROW 17: ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across
ROW 18: ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across to last 2 sc, decrease as
in Row 13 (4 sc).
ROWS 19 thru 22: ch 1, turn: sc in each sc across
Finish off leaving a 10" length for sewing.
Repeat for second skate.
FINISHING
HANGER
Join white with slip stitch to top of either skate, ch 50, join with
slip stitch to the other skate; finish off.
Fold skate in half and sew together, leaving opening for stuffing;
add stuffing and sew closed. Sew on "laces" using black yarn. Add
red pompom at top and paper clip to bottom. Repeat for second
skate.
